Vincent levy

After graduating from the Paris VIII University, Vincent Lévy started his activity as an independent editor. He works mainly on documentary films, as well as on fictions. Since 1994 he has been involved in an artistic activity, with the production of video installations.

Its two activities maintain a close relationship, the installations allowing it to explore a non-linear approach of the assembly of images, as well as of the sequence filming then editing. Thus, with Le Panneau du temps, which was released in 2001, and Fantômes in 2004, the image shown by the installation is the same as that of the spectator filmed in real time, then manipulated in time-delay mechanisms.
